How To Start Playing Black Desert Online
Welcome to Black Desert Online
I would first like to welcome you to the Black Desert Online gaming community. If you are going to start BDO then that means that you have paid $9.99 for the game and I would like to make this game worth the money you put into it by explaining how to start off in BDO. I will be talking about what classes there are, the starting quests, and how to earn and save silver.
Now lets talk about classes in BDO, there are 13 classes at the moment in BDO. They are split into 2 different groups first which would be ranged characters and close combat characters. For the ranged characters there are mages and archers. For the mages, there are wizards, witches, and sorceress. Wizards and witches have a long range skills and have an aoe(area of effect) healing, while sorceress is more of a mid ranged class but have a good amount of aoe damage abilities. Then there are archers, in BDO the archers are rangers, musa, and maehwa. Rangers are long range characters that have high mobility so you would be kiting(shooting enemies while you constantly move and position yourself) your way around. For musa and maehwa, they only have a few ranged skills but also have mid ranged and even close combat abilities. They are the all rounder class. Now we get into the close combat classes. For close combat there are defensive orientated and offensive orientated characters. For defensive classes, there are dark knights, valkyries, and tamer. For offensive classes, there are warriors, strikers, berserkers, ninjas, and kunoichis.
After you have chosen your class you will then have to do your tutorial quests. You will notice after your tutorial quest your quest are then divided into 3 different type of quests. You have your Black spirit quest which are the main story quest, your normal quest which can give you some rewards, and your repeatable quest which can be done if you are in need of experience points or silver.
Then there is your problem of income. When you enter the game you will notice on the top of your screen items are being sold at the market place. However, the prices of those items are at 33 million silver and up. Yet you would have only had saved up only 200 thousand. To earn more money, you would have two choices, either grind out monsters for their loot, or you could train a profession trade skill like cooking or fishing. To also save money, you should not sell your crystals. because you will need a ton later on so it is best to save them up in your inventory.
Well thats all for now, I'll keep you guys up to date on my next post till then.
I am a gamer myself. I have played a lot of video games but mainly on consoles. I do want to get into PC gaming but don’t want to start to play until I have a good desktop. I have never done a how to on a game before but I have helped people on occasion to get them through a level or part. I thought the blog post was informative and well written overall. Your descriptions of the characters classes and their main attributes were good. Having mentioned the quests will give the person the overall what they will see on the mini-map. Mentioning that the game does cost money is a good heads up.
ReplyDeleteNow the way I think you could improve the blog is to first give an overall what the game is about. You mentioned the main quest but what do they pertain too. this should help the person know if they would want to continue reading the blog post or just go to the next one. not to say, the person doesn’t want to read it but to make sure this person doesn’t leave a negative remark or comment. The only other thing I would say is that the character info needs more. It would be helpful to know the strength and weakness of each character. I don’t think you should put everything into it but just the biggest strength and weakness would be good.
My personality is a straightforward one. I do tend to think or overthink too much. I do have a little sense of humor but only when it comes to real things or bad thing happening to people. when it comes to thing I know I can be confident but the opposite is true as well. If I don’t know something them I will not speak or wait until enough information has be said for me to come up with an opinion. I don’t like to speak up and become the center of attention for any amount of time. I can if I want or need too. I like word play and how many things can have different meaning depending on how someone says or does something.
This is a post that needed images. The information you provide seems fine, but I still don't know a couple things such as why I'd want to play the game, and what character I should choose. Also, what does the silver do?
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to say that this blog was an overall disappointment as there was nothing to engage me to your topic, and I don't think I really learned anything either.
