how to bake devils food cake


 HOW TO BAKE DEVILS FOOD CAKE

  some people find baking a cake to be difficult because they didn't know the easy tricks there is in order to complete this process.

These are some of the things you will be needing:
1.  A Betty Crocker Devils food Cake mix
2. Eggs
3. Butter
4. Milk
5. Vegetable oil
6. whisk
7. An empty bowl
8. A metal baking Pan 13x9
9. measuring cup




STEP 1:  Gather all the ingredients that are listed above. After you've gather all of those things pour the cake mix into the empty bowl along with 3 eggs mix them with the whisk, By mixing the both the cake mix will get thicker and it will become more difficult to blend which is normal so don't freak out.
 
STEP2: Once the mix is thick enough that you can't mix it any longer, gather the measuring cup , milk and vegetable oil around you. pour 1/2 a cup of Vegetable oil into the measuring cup and pour it to the bowl , Do not mix until you finish with the rest of the ingredients that will follow after. once poured the vegetable oil you will pour 1 1/4 cup of milk, it might look weird because of the oil but that's normal , once that's done mix until it looks like the picture below and you're able to pick it up with the whisk without it being thick.
STEP3: Well you've made it this far ! Congrats! now comes the easy part which is to apply butter all over the metal pan until fully covered, once you've done that turn on your oven at 350 degrees to start heating up your oven while you make the finishing touches before you put it in the oven. Now that you've done that pour the mix into the pan and make sure its not filled up all the way to the top but half ways and move the pan side to side gently to flatten the mix like shown below.




STEP 4:  Set the pan in the center of the oven so  that it won't get to hot and burn the cake but it gets enough heat to cook the cake evenly without having to check it every ten minutes. Once you've done that set the time to 35 minutes but remember that the time is just an estimate so you can know when or so the cake will be done.


STEP 5:  After the 30 minutes check the cake to see if it has inflated to its normal form like shown in the picture below to make sure the cake is well done poke the center with a long tooth pick to check if there isn't any batter left inside and that's how you will know that the cake is done.
STEP 6 :    Once you know that your cake is done take it out of the oven and let the cake cool off and then you'll be ready to enjoy your moist devils food cake and if you like you can add frosting of your choice to go with the cake.
